The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the UGC NET Answer Key 2025 for the June session. Candidates who took the test can now check the answer key on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Along with the answer key, the NTA has also uploaded each candidate’s recorded answers & their question paper. This helps students to verify their responses & also estimate how well they did.
Raise Objections Before July 8, 2025
The NTA has opened a special window for raising objections. If you think any answer in the key is wrong, you can challenge it. But don’t wait too long — the objection window is only open until 5 PM on July 8, 2025.
This objection process is part of keeping things fair & accurate. The final result will be based on the updated answer key after reviewing all the valid challenges.

Steps to Challenge the UGC NET Answer Key 2025
If you find any mistake in the provisional key, you can submit an objection. Here’s how:
- Log in to the UGC NET portal by using your application number & password or date of birth.
- Choose the question you want to challenge.
- Give proper proof — textbooks, reference papers, or academic sources.
- Pay the objection fee of Rs. 200 per question. You can pay using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Make sure everything is accurate before you submit. If you forget to pay or send wrong documents, your objection won’t count. Also, there won’t be a correction window later, so double-check your submission.
What Happens After the Objection Window Closes
Once all the objections are in, a group of subject experts will review them. If a challenge is correct, the answer key will be changed. The final version of the answer key will be posted on the official website.
After that, the NTA will prepare and release the UGC NET June 2025 results. The final scores and qualification status of the each student will be based only on the revised answer key.
