The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will stop accepting applications for the SSC Stenographer 2025 Grade C and D exam today, June 26. This test helps hire stenographers for many government departments across India.
Grade C jobs are usually higher roles in central offices in Delhi.
Grade D jobs are often assistant roles in regional or local government offices.
Anyone who wants to apply must fill out the form by 11 PM today on the SSC website: ssc.gov.in. There are about 261 job openings this year.

Grade C jobs pay more than Grade D.
Each job also includes standard allowances like Dearness and House Rent.
Who Can Apply?
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian or fit rules under SSC Section 4.1.
- Education: Must have passed 12th grade from a recognized school board.
- Gender (for BRO jobs): Only men can apply for Grade D posts in the Border Roads Organization (BRO).

- General and OBC: ₹100
- Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen: No fee required
